1. Return Period
You have 14 days from the date you receive your order to initiate a return. The return period starts from the delivery date, not the purchase date. Items returned after 14 days from delivery will not be accepted and may be returned to the customer at their expense.
2. Eligibility Requirements
2.1 Unopened Records
Vinyl records must meet the following conditions to be eligible for return:

➡️ Shrink wrap or seal must be intact and unbroken
➡️ No signs of tampering or opening
➡️ All original contents included (vinyl record, jacket, inserts, sleeves)
➡️ All protective packaging present
2.2 Product Condition
Records must not show any of the following to be eligible for return:

➡️ Scratches or visible damage
➡️ Warping or bending of the vinyl
➡️ Bent, torn, or damaged jacket or sleeves
➡️ Water damage or moisture exposure
➡️ Mold, mildew, or other contamination
➡️ Discoloration or staining
➡️ Any signs of use or wear
2.3 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are NOT eligible for return:

3. How to Initiate a Return
3.1 Step 1: Contact Us
To initiate a return, contact Village Music World within 14 days of receiving your order:

3.2 Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

3.4 Step 4: Ship Your Return
Ship your return to the address provided by Village Music World. We recommend using a shipping method with tracking and insurance. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Once received, your return will be inspected and processed.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
4.1 Reporting Damage
If you receive a damaged or defective item, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery. Contact us at info@villagemusicworld.com with your order number and provide clear photos of the damage.
4.2 Shipping Damage Claims
If your item was damaged during shipping, we will cover the cost of return shipping and provide a full refund or replacement. Keep the original packaging and document the damage with photos for your claim.
4.3 Manufacturer Defects
If your item has a manufacturing defect (such as a pressing defect on a vinyl record), we will provide a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.
5. Refund Processing
5.1 Inspection
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item to verify it meets our return eligibility requirements. This inspection typically takes 3-5 business days.
5.2 Refund Amount
If your return is approved, you will receive a refund as follows:

8. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, you may return the original item per this policy and place a new order for the replacement item. If the replacement item costs more, you will need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we will refund the difference less return shipping costs.
9. International Returns

10. Collector's Items and Rare Records
For collectible, rare, or limited edition vinyl records, our return policy remains the same. However, these items are inspected very carefully upon receipt to ensure they meet condition requirements. Any evidence of opening or handling will disqualify the item from return.
